Mr. Calderwood came to RMHS after twenty-one years at Palm Springs High School where he was the head football coach (1992-96), and later the athletic director(1995-2013) and vice principal(1998-2013). Before that, he coached and taught at his alma mater, Carpinteria High School, for six years. Mr. Calderwood has served as President of the Citrus Belt Area Athletic Director's Association and is currently the Chair of the CIF-SS Athletic Administrators Advisory Committee, serves on the Board of the California State Athletic Director's Association, and is the Boys Athletic Director representative to the CIF-SS Executive Committee.
I have been with PSUSD since 2008 with most of those years spent working at the middle school level. I am excited to start my fourth year at RMHS and even more excited to be part of the athletic family. I am happily married and a mother to two awesome rattlers!
Mrs. Thomas came to RMHS from Palm Springs High School. She has been with PSUSD for 14 years. Mrs. Thomas began with RMHS serving the dual role of ASB Financial Secretary and Athletic Secretary and has now moved over to ASB Financial, full-time.
Kendra Mason received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, Pre-Athletic Training from California State University, East Bay. She also participated in Intercollegiate Softball and Water Polo during her time at East Bay. She continued to pursue her education by receiving a Masters degree in Athletic Training at California Baptist University. CBU is where she gained most of her Athletic Training knowledge and experience. Kendra is a Certified Athletic Trainer and a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. Kendra is excited to be apart of the Rattler family.
