Current RMHS ATHLETICS Situation
Currently, RMHS athletics is is Phase 1 of our return to athletics protocol, starting 11/2/20. Basically, this is non contact and non equipment conditioning with 1 Coach per 10 Athletes. This conditioning will take place in the same location and with the same group of people multiple days a week either before 8am or after 3 pm, depending on when you are assigned. If you are interested in playing ANY sports, including BASEBALL, please follow the directions below in getting cleared, then Contact Coach Shaw at DSHAW@psusd.us to set up a time slot for you to be assigned to when we start conditioning.

2019 RMHS Rattlers
Mission Statement:
The Rancho Mirage Baseball Program's mission is to implement a program that fosters long-term development of character, discipline, sportsmanship, community, and work ethic. With these goals in mind, we hope to create better athletes, but more importantly, better young men and students in the process. Given the opportunity, the players will grow both mentally and physically, allowing each player to find success on and off the field.
About the Program:
RMHS Baseball will be starting its 6th Varsity season (7th Season Overall), and will be carrying a Varsity, Junior Varsity, and a Freshman team. Last year the Rattlers finished 1 game from back from making the playoffs in its inaugural season in the Desert Empire League. This season they will be very experienced team with multiple returners of each grade level. Prior to the start of this season, we have completed our renovation of the baseball diamond, by moving both hose couplers on Varsity and JV Fields to behind the mound, to allow for better access and ease of use. Also during this off-season, we have added a unique "RM" logo to behind our home plate area that brings our Varsity Field to an unmatched level of quality. See the information below for more information about the coaching staff, camps, fundraising and game schedules for all levels.
